Inte'l index: Jordan is best 2nd Arab country to live in

Jordan, Jan 9 (Petra) -- Jordan has secured the second place among Arab countries in the 2010 Quality of Life Index which is published by International Living Magazine.
According to the 194-country scale, Jordan is the best place to live after Tunisia in the Arab world in terms of cost of living, leisure, culture, economy, environment, freedom, health, infrastructure, climate, risk and safety.
By sub-headings, the Kingdom achieved the highest score among Arab countries in terms of health; 80 points out of 100.
The report also ranked the Kingdom among the safest countries in the region with a total score of 71 points out of 100.
France ranked first for a fifth consecutive year, followed by Australia, Switzerland, Germany and New Zealand, Luxembourg, US, Belgium, Canada and Italy.
International Living is an American monthly magazine that covers topics including retiring overseas, living abroad, international real estate, investment and travel, while a daily "IL Postcard" is emailed daily to 400,000 readers.
