Al-Twaisi meets Hungarian Minister of Human Resources
Amman, Mar. 11 (Petra)- Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Adel Al-Twaisi, met on Sunday with Hungarian Minister of Human Resources, Dr. Zoltan Balog, and his accompanying.

During the meeting, Dr. Al-Twaisi thanked the Hungarian government for scholarships offered to Jordanian students.

Jordanian degree seekers in Hungary " have no academic problems." Both sides are urged to increase cooperation to open up fresh opportunities for Hungarian degree seekers to study at Jordanian universities, Dr. Al-Twaisi explained.

Commenting on this call, the Jordanian higher education institutions enjoy a good reputation and a high level, alongside the country's security which provides an appropriate academic environment, he added.

In turn, the Hungarian minister said education is a key means of joint communication and helps to integrate peoples, and added Jordan is a major beneficiary of scholarships from the Hungarian government at the world level.

On a related context, the Hungarian ambassador here, who attended the meeting, said the two sides maintain continuous coordination to follow up issues of Jordanians studying in the EU country.

The Hungarian government annually offers Jordan about 400 scholarships at all levels and academic disciplines, and the number of Jordanian students at Hungarian universities hit 800.
