1 dead, four injured at Aqaba industrial facility
Aqaba, Jan 7 (Petra) -- One worker died and four were injured on Saturday for inhaling carbon dioxide during repairs of an ammonium fluoride storage tank at an industrial facility in the port city of Aqaba.
An official at the Aqaba Industrial Complex said the four workers, who were hired to carry out the annual cleaning at the facility, were caught in carbon fumes as they tries to recover a tool from the tank.
He said the injured were in a stable condition in hospital, but added they inhaled carbon fumes not ammonium fluoride. //Petra//SS
