Jordan, Estonia discuss ties
Amman, Jan. 14 (Petra) - Members of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce's (JCC) Board of Directors have discussed with Estonian Foreign Minister Urmas Paet means of boosting bilateral economic, trade and investment cooperation, especially in energy and tourism fields.

In a JCC press release issued on Monday, talks during the meeting discussed the Kingdom's role in building bridges with international countries and exchanging expertise to support the national economy and infrastructure.

JCC First Vice Chairman, Issa Haider Murad, said that the Jordanian-Estonian partnership has major opportunities in the field of communication and information technology, noting the Estonian company that is currently conducting the Oil Shale Project.

He also expressed the Kingdoms' willingness to collaborate in the field of e-government and benefit from Estonia's long experience in state development.

Paet said that the two countries have many opportunities for cooperation, pointing his country's willingness to cooperate in the scientific and tourism fields, especially teaching the Arabic language to foreigners.
