Malaysian ambassador visits JUST, discuss cooperation with its president
Ramtha, June 5 (Petra)--Malaysian Ambassador to Jordan Dato' Abdul Malek bin Abdul Aziz, along with his embassy staff, visited Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) on Wednesday to meet with university president Abdullah Malkawi and discuss cooperation between JUST and Malaysian academic institutions.
Malkawi said that students representing 55 nationalities are studying at JUST and highlighted developments achieved by the university in the scientific and medical fields.
The ambassador praised the level of cooperation between the university and the embassy, as well as the strong ties between Jordan and Malaysia.
The number of Malaysian students at the university currently stands at 750, with the majority of Malaysians studying medicine and dentistry.
