Amman, Jan. 3 (Petra)-The Jordanian government on Wednesday denounced the terrorist bomb attack that hit a mosque in the northeastern Nigerian town of Gamboru, and took at least the lives of ten people and injured several others.

Minister of State for Media Affairs and Government Spokesperson, Mohammed Al-Momani, said repeated schemes to target worshipping sites and civilians worldwide proves the hideous mentality of terrorists, and concomitantly stresses the dire need to foster relevant int'l cooperation to phase out this phenomenon and address its root causes.

The minister voiced Amman's solidarity with the government and people of Nigeria in their efforts to combat terrorism and expressed condolences over human losses.
