Video Details documentary film on the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) produced by Jordan News Agency, Petra. The documentary includes interviews with the South Korean ambassador, Shin Bong-kil, and KOICA Resident Representative in Jordan Jung Sang Hoon in addition to a number of Korean and Jordanian volunteers. KOICA provided Jordan with about $14 million in aid during 1991-2008, and focused on education, health, industry, energy, environment, rural and human resources development. In its programs, KOICA focuses on human resources development through inviting Jordanian officials to Korea to take part in capacity building programs as well as dispatching experts and volunteers from the agency to work with public institutions in the Kingdom. KOICA launched in 2006 its Volunteer Programme in the Kingdom where 19 specialized Korean volunteers are currently teaching the Korean language, information technology, computer design, physical education and chemical engineering.
